15 Years of Growth and Gratitude

15 years ago, the first iPad was released, Instagram was launched, Tik-Tok was only a song by Kesha, and I started working at Mike Martin Media. While it seems like a long time to look back on, the journey itself feels like it's happened in the blink of an eye.

I vividly remember becoming the first employee of MMM, and I was excited to start, although I had no idea what the future would have in store. Mike and I drove to every shoot, with the gear packed in the trunk, and gave every opportunity our hardest effort. Over time, we gathered more work, grew the team, bought more gear, and hustled just as hard. There were lots of late nights and stumbling blocks, but there were also a lot of laughs and great memories.

Now, we have an entire team of talented professionals, an amazing studio, and a long list of clients that we are thrilled to work with. But what I think holds true, is that we all still put in that same hard effort day in and day out, just like we did 15 years ago. The true culture of MMM is knowing that we are lucky enough to be trusted to craft the messages for our trusted partners, and we have never taken that responsibility lightly.

So, while reminiscing on my quindecennial (I had to look that up), I am thankful for the opportunity to have started my professional life here, but I’m just as thankful for everyone who has helped build us into the company we are today.
